The best thing for you to do is go to a hair stylist and have them wash and set it for you. You can do it yourself but it is very time consuming and unless you have eyes in the back of your head and arms on your back, there is no way you will do it as good. They wash and condition it, take all the tangles out as they separate each section, then they roll up each section with hair rollers and sit you under the dryer. The end result is smooth, tangle free, curls. You can brush the curls out or let them fall on their own. I wouldn't recommend washing a weave on your own whether it's human or synthetic hair.

There are but there really is no difference between them and the regular shampoo you use. Kind of like hair products that use the term "super grow" or things like that. They all usually give the same results. Usually a wash and set is about $20-$25 and that is at the top range. I would go every other week depending on how much activity I do or how humid the weather is. Sweat and dirt builds up so if you start scratching more than normal it's time to go get it washed. but don't go longer than every other week without getting it washed. Make sure they keep you under the dryer long enough. It doesn't matter if the hair is dry, what matters is if YOUR hair underneath the weave is dry!!!

Thank you! I gotta go look around to find a hair salon who knows how to take care of a weave.
