My hair is way thicker than usual. It's always been healthy but I've noticed that it's thicker than ever. Any idea why? I'm not pregnant, don't take supplements, no real diet changes. I have long, wavy hair, wash it 3x/week. Any ideas? I'm wondering why.

My hair always grows faster in the spring and summer. Is it possible that what you are experiencing is more growth? And, if your hair absorbs humidity, and the current season is quite rainy, your hair might feel thicker, and probably wavier, too.

This makes a lot of sense, I agree. At certain times of year mine feels thicker also, usually in humid weather.

I asked my hairdresser about this. But I'm sure she said that your hair can get thicker in the Winter, and thinner in the Summer.
