I started using the old fashioned type of air dry hair rollers that take about 4 hours to dry completely.
Compliments abound. My hair is bouncy and shiny. But of course who wants to sit at home avoiding going out in public for that long?
I ordered on-line a soft-bonnet hair dryer like I had in my twenties. When it arrived it was missing some attachments and the bonnet was too small and the hose did not connect to the bonnet with a locking mechanism so it kept falling out. I can return it and buy something similar?
Which would be the easiest to use looking for volume and bounce on a bob lower-jaw length.
A soft bonnet hair dryer or a hot air brush? Can I get relatively the same effect from the brush as I would from the curlers but less trouble?
I would use the hot air brush. I remember the old-fashioned rollers. My hair does have body and will hold a curl, if you have limp hair, the hold won't be as good. You may want or need to use one of the products to help protect your hair from the heat.
As suggested by AnywhereElse, a hot air brush, I suggest the Karmin G3 Salon Pro ceramic hair straightening brush my granddaughter uses it to lift her crown, smooth the curls down half the hair length and uses it to increase the curls at the ends.
