Well we know its not the hair length that makes a guy, but we can have our preferences. Guys can have their preferences, we should be able to have ours..

I think it depends on the guy. Some guys wear long hair well (someone mentioned Eddie Vedder? I'll second that). Others, not so much (Fabio springs to mind).

In my own I don’t really like men which have long hair, but I don’t hate them. Long hair is depend on men on how the carry themselves.

Other is nice to look in long hair but others also are ugly to look. So it does really depend on men if they look handsome or not in long hair. They should know which hair is good for them or not.

Fortunately, my diet must be good because the darn yellow stuff is pretty much indestructible. I do nothing to care for it besides cheap shampoo and condititioner, then rip a brush through it while still damp. Finally, it gets tied back (still damp) into a pony tail as tight as I can pull the little black rubber-band thingy. Despite the abuse, it stays thick and soft on the rare occasion that I pull the pony tail out.

I don't know why I even keep it any more, except that it took so long to grow. I want short hair again, but I put so much effort into this mop that it seems a shame. The only use it has is when I pull it out in the water. Having a long mane helps intimidate other surfers out of dropping in on you.

But I dream of the days when drying off meant just rubbing a towl over my head ONCE, or 1 minute out in the sun!
Hah !! I agree. I too have very long hair and my wife has even longer. I too am a child of the 70s and maybe just a tad past the Hippy generation but to me Hippies will live on. It was the greatest generation ever.

I think about cutting it sometimes and donating it to Locks of Hair since I am a cancer surviver too.

I dont put much effort into it. I used to wash it every day but now that I am 50 every other day is just fine. I used to feel like as part of my job is selling, that I had to sell myself before I can sell my product. People still judge others based on looks. I gave up on that idea. I am who I am and I am an artist in the product I design. And long hair is acceptable to artists and rock stars.

I may never cut it. Women like it and mine does too. Before I met her I advertised for a woman with very very long hair. Some guys advertise for boobs or weight or height. I advertised for long hair.

I am not a fan of really long hair on men. Shoulder length is about as long as I like to see it. I like short hair too. Just noooooo mullets!

As a general rule of thumb I'm not that fond of it. Especially past a "certain" age. Like when it's thin and scraggly and tied back in a ponytail? Why for crying out loud? I saw a guy the other day who would have looked so much nicer in his lovely suit and gorgeous tie if he had chopped the 'tail off and got a serious trim. From the neck down he looked like a god. From the head up like a bum.

Yes I am twelve.

I LOVE long hair on guys - so long as it is clean.

And BTW - the Locks of Love people make the recipients PAY for the wigs they make out of donated hair - just so you know.

Funny how I look at women the same way you looked at that guy. I dont care if she has gigantic boobs and legs up to her armpits with a face that hypnotizes me. If she has short hair especially the little boy look, I will look the other way. I dont care how much she is shaken it.

The thing that bothers me is when I hear a woman saying how she wishes she had nice long hair like that other woman. Well it does not take a rocket scientist to come to the simple conclusion: Then stay the hell away from the Barber Shop and you will.

There are some average faced people who look exceptional because the long beautiful hair makes them look special. The vast majority of men like long hair. Those who dont have trouble talking their wife into staying away from the Barber Shop.

To hell with what is easy to take care of in the morning. We all want to look nice. It is instinctive to look the best we can. Why do men shave their skulls? Why do women cut around the ears like a little boy. That dont even look
feminine but rather masculine.
