Ladies,
What do you think of men with long hair? Like it, hate it, or does it depend on the man?

Love it.

But I should qualify that! As long as we're talking Eddie Vedder long hair and not Billy Ray Cyrus long hair!

I liked it rock star long back in the 80's when I was younger - but now I think it just looks sad and out of date.

I have only ever seen one guy with long hair (which by the way was nicer than my own) and to me he was very attractive but generally I love a clean cut man. Nothing is better than a clean cut, good looking, nice smelling man! I think it takes a very special man to pull his hair off as long. If you have never seen the movie Unfaithful (Diane Lane) and also stars this French hunk of a man, in the movie he has longish hair but good Lord, the man is like a God. That's got to be the exception in long hair for me. LOL

Gawd Ive always loved longer hair on a guy, but only if its maintained and he takes good care of himself. For some reason, men seem to have nicer hair than me. Sometimes its wierd seeing a guy with longer, shoulder length hair and his girlfriend has short, above shoulder length hair.

As a general "rule" I don't like long hair on men. (I assume by long you mean below the neckline) Typically it's dirty, stringy and unkempt looking. And well, frankly, I think it's "girly" looking. I much prefer men with well groomed, neat, manly looking hair. Even if the long haired man in question has pretty, long hair I think it takes away from his masculinity.

I'll tell you what I especially hate and that's the guys who are nearly bald on top but grow out the back of their hair real long - YUCK!!

Of course there are women who LOVE long hair on a guy and perhaps that's the type of woman he would attract. So....to each his own.

I love long hair on guys if it's well-trimmed and taken care of. And some guys can even pull off a slightly scruffier look, which works for me as well.

One of the reasons I cut my long hair as a college student all those years ago was that I was tired of seeing guys with longer, better-looking hair than mine!

Child of the 70s that I am, I like long hair on some men, but it's really the whole package, you know.

Back when I was in HS, 1973-77, most fellows wore their hair long -- at least to their shoulders, and I had the biggest crush on a very bright fellow in one of my classes. Hair down to his waist, but Morehead Scholar or not, I knew my ex-Marine Corp drill sergeant Dad wouldn't let him into the house, if he showed up at the front door.

In college, when I first laid eyes on my husband and fell head-over-heels for him, he had gorgeous dark hair to his shoulders, and a thick mustache. Just out of the Navy, it was his 'protest,' much his to his own father's dismay -- but it was a hit, with all the girls.

Today, some men can carry it off, and it looks great. Others, it's just too sad, like they're hanging onto their youth or something? Unless, of course, they are young men with long hair.
