Looking for a good shampoo
Hello everyone!
I'm curious to know if anyone has any recommendations for a good shampoo and conditioner? I am currently using Sami, which I love, but I feel like since I've been using it for a while, it hasn't been working as well. Then sometimes I switch off with Pantene, which is decent.
I'm hoping to find something really great that I haven't tried before. Something in between TIGI Bedhead, which I like, but it's too expensive but something not as low quality as Suave.
Sorry, I know some people who love Suave, but I heard that it's made from floor cleaner ....whether that is true or not, I dunno, but it scared me away!
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks for all your help!

Biolage Matrix works really well for me. I buy the largest pair of shampoo and conditioner and every so often, I would use a shampoo that strips away the buildup. For this I either use Neutrogena or Herbal Essence's Degunkify.

A detergent is a detergent ... indeed.
I use Aussie Mega shampoo, and although the quality isn't the same since Procter & Gamble bought Redmond, alas, it's still pretty good stuff.

I used to love Aussie shampoo and conditioner!! I thought it was great! But then something happened and the product changed, the packaging changed...everything. But I guess you just said they were bought by another company, which I guess explains the change.... .

I loved my Aussie conditioner to death but then it wasn't giving me very good results anymore. Lucky me, I ran into a huge bottle of Tigi's Catwalk "Sexed Up" conditioner for $15 at TJ Maxx! My search for a good shampoo continues.

I think it depends on what type of hair you have. I have thick hair which gives the 'Irish Afro' with humidity, my son has thick hair that tends to get oily, my daughter has thin hair which tends to be dry and have flyaways, and my husband keeps his thin hair really short.
We all love the Teatree shampoos to remove all product and oils, but I then do a second wash with Head & Shoulders and condition with Aussie for frizzy hair.
Also consider what product you put in after shampooing. That makes a huge difference too!

Gotta love TJMaxx when they have their stuff on clearance!!! I bought a bottle of Bedhead conditioner, huge bottle retails for $24 and I paid $14.
As for shampoos, if I could afford it all the time, I love the Fredric Fekkai products for hair, they make my hair amazing and my wallet much thinner. I usually bounce around between Suave and Dove - I find that I like the more expensive products better but as much as I wash my hair (and have to), I simply won't give myself that luxury - too pricey.

I agree. I have thick wavy/curly hair. I swim almost every day, and shampoo daily.

Agreed again.
I use Suave for shampoo, and Scruples afterwards, and my Aveda hair stylist always raves about how shiny and healthy my hair is.
