Default Blonde hair & dark eyebrows

Do you think it looks ok to dye your hair blonde but still have dark eyebrows?

I think it looks kinda weird. That being said, I have medium to dark brown hair and my eyebrows are very dark. When I lightened my hair a bit and had highlights added, I wanted to lighten my eyebrows too. But I couldn't find anyone to do it; they only darken eyebrows. What I do is carefully put a little hydrogen peroxide on them with Q-tips. Lightens them up a bit; but be careful as it can bring out any red you have. Good Luck!

I've bleached my eyebrows more than once. Though, I don't know of a salon that would. Yes, I tempt fate that much.

That being said, having blonde hair and brown/black eyebrows is rather silly looking. The peroxide on a q-tip idea is good.

Depends on the blond and depends on the dark. You should never lighten your brows. They are the frame for your face and light brows can make your face look like shapeless lump. They should be 1-2 shades darker than your hair. When I go blonde I thin mine out and they appear lighter. Naturally they are a dark brown. I use a brown/spice colored pencil for brows for when I am blonde. I add a bit of black to the spice application when I am dark brown. Its very suble changes. Start flipping through some magazines with real people type shots (like good houskeeping etc) look at the brows to get an idea on how to shade.

If you have black or dark brown eyebrows and very light blond hair, it will look harsh. You SHOULD lighten your brows a shade or two, just to soften your face. But, they should be darker than your hair. They need to be seen to frame your eyes!

I have blond hair and very light brows--I have to darken them so they can actually be seen!

Hey now! Careful throwing around the word "never." My brows are so dark and thick, if I don't thin and lighten 'em up a bit I look like Groucho Marx!!!

Bah...You just need me to thin em out right for you!

Trust me..Im a groucho too without fixing.

Have you ever tried trimming them too? I dont know exactly what you do but brushing mine up and down and trimming them shorter and with the thinner line they look about 4 shades lighter. All wild and untamed its almost black. Another easy tip if you dont have time to dye or touch up etc. Put foundation on your brows and then go over with a light brown powder or pencil.

It kinda depends. Sometimes I think the look is quite striking and very beautiful. I have a gorgeous friend who lightens her hair pretty light and she has dark eyebrows. On her, it's beautiful. Depends on the person.

It DOES depend on the person I am letting my silver-gray hair grow out, and I have dark brown eyes - I always darken my brows as they are fading now with the gray and I love the look!
