I have never thought there was only one "ideal." Everyone has their preferences. I have always preferred brunette, male or female. I am of Spanish heritage so I don't know if that matters. My husband has that dark-haired, green-eyed Irish thing going on which I love. He is now silver haired, though, and I like that too!! My own dark hair is streaked with silver and almost looks blond now and I like that as well.

Well, two things:

1. Henry Ford (the founder of Ford Motor) was quite far gone on Judaism, the Jewish dominion in the US (& the World?) of finance, banking, movies (?)

2. I remember reading somewhere that M. Monroe was brunette before Hollywood got hold of her.

I don't know that blonde over blue was ever the ideal. There were lots of movies produced by European & US film companies, from the beginning of moving pictures to today. & attractive women were a feature of many movies, yah. Was there a definitive type? We'd have to look @ the research, I suppose. Someone somewhere has surely compiled these stats already?

I'm in DFW/Texas and I find blonde is the way to go. Full out blonde, baby blonde, highlights, etc.

I got my first set of highlights a month ago and love them.
