Please do not get one of those bobs that are shorter in back - so sick of seeing it.

I think women always look nicest with soft hairstyles. Is your hair thick, straight, wavy? I have always liked longer layers. Very flattering.

Well what type of hair do you have to work with? Are you conservative or daring? Like to use products or wash and wear?

I agree. What were those women thinking? Most don't look good with that style.

The inverted bob is a classic cut and has been around for a long time...I don't see it going away anytime soon. I love that cut!
WE need more info...hair type? How short are you willing to go? WHat kind of styles do you like?

I have never really cared for the long hair look on every women. I think most women look the best with just their hair pulled back in a poney tail. It shows their neck and face off more. These are the better highlights that women have. No adams apple, cuter faces. It differs however. If you are very attractive, then you look good showing off your face,--so pony tail it. If you are not so, then growing your hair long curly, etc might help you out, since it will hide your face more. I used to date this girl back in college that was so debilitatingly cute. I mean total 10. She always had that sporty look going on, her hair was always in a pony tail and it enhanced her cute neck and adorable face. One day, when we went on our first date, she wore her hair down straight. She looked like a different person. I couldn't no longer see the cutest girl around being that her face was hidden behind all of that hair. I told her she looked nice, because I know she worked hard to get it that way. However, she never wore it again, and I was not dissapointed. I think she could tell what I really liked on her. The eyes never lie. Girls are beautiful things, they look best without makeup (if they have the skin for it), without a lot of jewelry, showing there neck (of course I know all girls dont look so cute these ways) and showing there face. Take it from a guy who knows...

That's just ONE guy's opinion. 99.99% of men like to see (and feel...) the hair, first time in my now long life I hear one say a ponytail; most prefer long hair, if you don't believe me do a search on the subject or just ask men of different ages you know.
Here's a link so you can look at tons of hairstyles. Btw, I'm a Cosmetologist and no one can really recommend a hairstyle with as little information as you provided. Facial shape, height, weight, type of hair and even lifestyle are important considerations when choosing a new style.
