I just looked at all 88 photos on Yahoo News. Maybe I'm old fashined or something, but what's with all the strapless gowns without any necklaces? They just look so bare - as if they're begging for a necklace! There were very few dresses I liked, but certainly a lot of horrible dresses that make me go . Not a lot of flattering 'do's either. Maybe it's just me, but I compete in ballroom and we dancers are used to dressing to the nines. I thought stars were supposed to be at least as glamorous as dancers.
You must have found a short version. They have 807 posted now and I don't really want to look at all of them. I did notice what you were saying about the lack of jewelry. If it is a new trend...the jewelers of the world will be eating Prozacs today. LOL!
The more I looked at the hairdo worn by Drew....the more I like it. It's different and fun....kind of a messy-glamorous look.
Now Yahoo has the Best List and the Worst List. I looked through both lists - I agree with the Worst List, but there were a few on the Best List that I am still confused about! I didn't care for Drew's hair, but I love the gown!

Wow, I disagreed with so many of their picks, especially on the best dressed!
I thought Miley Cyrus looked beautiful, and Mickey Rourke looked great! As far as the "best"... Eva Longoria's red dress was hideous, it looked plastic! JLo looked the same as always, and Heidi Klum was wearing a homecoming dress.
I also did not agree with all of yahoos list. I did agree with these on the worst:
Cameron Diaz - Hair! Roots, ech.
Hayden Paniterre (I am SICK of the potato sack halter dresses she wears)
Debra Messing - I wanted to like it, but did not like the hair, so that kinda ruined it.
