My husband would never dye his hair! He is fortunate in that he has a thick head of gorgeous 'salt-and-pepper ' colored hair. I love it.

Actually, my dad does and he is 65. He looks good and younger and feels better. He says that some people looks good in gray hair and some don't.

Im so old I had a dinosaur for a pet, but I still dye my hair. why? Everyone wants to be liked or excepted, especially by the ladies if your into that. Dying my hair gives some boost to my self confidence, and makes me feel better about myself and helps me think Im more excepted by others whither its true or Memorex.....there's plenty of time down the road for them to get to know me, but first I have to get close enough for them to do it. ;] I suppose my outdated cloths will give me away anyhow. Or maybe its the walker.
You only get this dance once kid.......ENJOY IT.

I have two older male clients that have their hair colored. They both have professional job in which they do better with a younger look.

Personally, it can be ok, but usually it looks horrible, and I honestly prefer the "silver haired fox" look.

I hate it when men don't dye their hair. I don't mean 70 year olds but 40s-50s.

The middle-aged men that I know were not American born don't dye their hair. But the middle-aged men that I know who are American born do dye their hair. So I am wondering if it is an American culture thing for a middle-aged man to dye his hair.

I don't understand a man or woman coloring their hair. They THINK it makes them look younger. The health risks aren't worth the vanity involved to any one at our house.

I can't stand it. Just like I can't stand toupees. Dyed and/or fake hair always look it (on men or women). JMHO--it's fine for women, but men--nah.

My dad's still got most of his blond hair, but he puts in a little dye every so often because he's started to get gray hairs.

Mine jokes about it but he wouldn't do it. I think he looks great the way he is.

Most of the men's dye jobs that I see are too harsh and fake. You cannot have jet black hair and an old face. It looks horrible.

If you are going to do it make sure you go a shade lighter than your natural color and leave some gray in. You don't want to look completely fake.
