I want to buy Chi flat iron from ebay. I found different types available from the same company. Which one shall I buy?

What are the choices? How long is your hair?

My hair is medium length, a few inches below my shoulders. I like the 1 inch iron.

This I can tell you from experience. ALWAYS get the one with the adjustable dial. I have color-treated blonde hair, and I bought the CHI 1 1/2" (I think that was the width) and I would totally fry my hair on the ends. EVEN using all the expensive Chi/and other sprays etc to heat protect. I talked with my hair dresser and she told me I should have purchased the one with the dial. Oh well, I ended up giving it to a friend of mine who does not color her hair, and I guess it worked ok for her for a while, but she ended up breaking her ends too eventually. Hope this helps.

If it's on ebay & the price is too good to be true, it is too good to be true. Just giving you a heads up. You shouldn't be able to get a chi for under $70, and that's a great deal.

Why is the Chi so much better than the cheaper flat irons? I had one, but my daughter got ahold of it and broke it. I can't afford a Chi right now, and bought a cheaper type. There is no comparison in the results. What make the Chi so much better? Is it the metal used?

I liked my old original Chi, no temp dial. My daughter stole that from me when she went to college so I bought an updated one with a temp dial and red flocking on the handles. I don't like it as well and I can't tell you why, but I haven't straigtened my hair for over a year and I probably won't bother buying another one.

Question Chi - Real or Knockoff

I bought a Chi and I'm trying to fingure out if it is authentic or not. I have all of the things that they are saying the real one should have. The only thing that's different on mine is that it was made in the USA. Is this a knockoff?

I ended getting a Remington flat iron and it works good.
