Can someone please recommend a barber shop or hair stylist that is good with men's hair pieces? I live in Frederick,Maryland, but I am willing to drive 50 miles or so. Please email me at arnoldbrown@adelphia.net
none of my business and not to be rude but as someone who started to lose his hair and shaved off the rest, stop clinging to scraps, if you can't accept your own head what can you accept? no one will be fooled you'll be ridiculed secretly and sometimes overtly, and you'd love the attention being all bald gets, my mom just went through chemo and our baldy pictures together will be treasured forever. live free let it go.
I agree. My husband is bald and has been since we married when he was in his mid 20's. I dated him when he had hair so I have seen him w/ and w/o. I'll take the w/o. Less upkeep. Just kidding. But I have no problem whatsoever w/ bald men. Some of the best looking ones are.
Toupee's are OUT! Trust me, women prefer a man who is bald and secure with himself than a guy who sports a toupee. And we ALL can spot a toupee a mile away!!! Not to be mean or unkind, but a lot of women are secretly laughing at a man who wears a toupee.
Count me as another woman who doesn't much care one way or another how much hair a man has; never have. Definitely more attractive than a toupee, IMHO.

well whatever you do decide, arnoldrbrown, is up to you. but count me in with the other ladies, i too think bald can be very sexy... but only if combined with a bit of facial hair. my fiance and i have decided that when he starts going bald, we're just going to shave his head! i hope he doesnt get a toupee.
but perhaps they do make good toupees these days, i wouldnt know... i think it would be fun to wear a wig! i'd never have to do my hair again...
I love people who say they can spot a toupee a miel away, that is total bs. That is what you call the 'toupee falacy'.
They can spot a bad toupee a mile away, a modern hair piece done by a modern professional is 99% impossible to spot up close let alone a mile away.
The only reaosn peopel tihnk they can spot them is in celebrities, who they KNOW are bald, so it looks oput of place, or very old people who try to have hair pieces with to much hair. it looks unnatural.
However, I bet they walk passed 100's of 20 to 40 year old men AND WOMEN with hair pieces and never know it.
Its just sad also that women think its disgusting or that men who do it do not have a good self image. Women who say this are shallow hypocrits!
lets see them wlak out the door without their six pounds of foudnation, eye shadow, mascara, or without drawing on their eye brows!

Not only can we spot a toupee a mile away, we can also spot someone who obviously wasn't paying attention in school by their bad spelling, poor grammar and horrible punctuation. Maybe you should get a clue before you slap on your six pounds of makeup and phony eyebrows!
