After reading about Moroccon oil on this forum, I bought some from Amazon. Love the smell, makes my ends nice. But now, I am wiser and pay attention to ingedients. I might as well pour a can of motor oil on my head.

I saw some cheap "moroccan oil" in walmart. It was full of dimethicones and such, like what the other poster posted earlier. I didn't buy it though.

I've never used Moroccan Oil, but I picked up some organic Coconut Oil in the grocery store that works wonderfully. I got a huge jar for under $10.

Sometimes I use Olive Oil as well.

Sally Beauty supply employees should be able to lead you to the products containing argan oil, same ingredient of overly expensive moroccan oil...

Default Good suggestions

I paid for the Moroccan oil and was dissapointed. Smelled nice but didn't feel that it did anything for my hair. I also use a smidge of almond oil on the outer layer of my hair. It's inexpensive and smells nice and works!

It cheap, barely scented and you can use it on your eyelashes to darken & condition AND remove makeup. Its good for cuticles too.

I often use argan oil on my hair. I buy the pure stuff and it's about $40 for 8 oz. Expensive but it lasts forever because you only use a little at a time. I keep it in the fridge and it lasts forever. I would be interested in checking out the one at Trader Joe's. Sounds like it's very reasonable.

An esthetician told me to use the rosemary oil. It burns unless you dilute it with something else, like the argan oil. I usually mix in a couple drops with my argan oil, let it sit on my hair under a shower cap for an hour or so and then shampoo.
