Hi, I am traveling this upcoming Friday at 4pm from PA/MD town (Glen Rock) to Williamsburg, VA. Both mapquest/google maps said that it would take 4hrs 15mins (w/o traffic) on the route going through Baltimore and then down through DC (both on the beltway). I would like to avoid this since I am sure it will take much, much longer.

Below is the alternate route I found that will supposedly take 4hrs, 50mins. I would like to make it down there at a decent time, and I am not familiar with these roads, so any input would be greatly appreciated!! Also, if you know an alternate route that would avoid traffic, that would be great! Thanks!

Wow! I think your directions from lines 21-28 look good. That is the most efficient way to travel to Williamsburg. I haven't taken that alternative route around DC, but you are smart to avoid the beltway at rush hour.
