HELLO ALL....HUBBY AND I ARE LOOKING TO PURCHASE IN CHESAPEAKE (WE WILL BE MOVING THERE THIS SPRING). IT SEEMS THAT THE HUBBY IS FOND OF THE DEEP CREEK AREA. ANYONE LIVE IN OLDE MILL RUN? WHAT CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT THE AREA? WE HAVE NO CHILDREN AND MORE THAN LIKELY WON'T. THANKS

Both Summer Park and Olde Mill are nice, quiet, peaceful areas of Deep Creek. Even if you don't plan on having kids, I believe the Summer Park neighborhood feeds into Grassfield High School while Olde Mill feeds into Deep Creek H.S.
Currently, Grassfield H.S. is sought after and your investment may hold up better in the long run if you purchase in that school district. Both neighborhoods are nice, though.

Summers 19, thank you for the info. I really like the style of the summer park homes, however, is it true that summer park has some sporadic older homes throughout?

Summer Park does feed into Grassfield HS and Elementary school. They do have some older homes sprinkled though, it is an odd neighborhood in that regard. They didn't just put up homes in a big field, they bought up some older homes and tore them down. The Saint Jude House was in there 2 years ago. There are a few other neighborhoods in that area that all kind of bump up together.

I don't live in those neighborhoods but live just down the road and I really like the area.
