Besides Hunt Club Farms, which I'm already looking into, does anyone have any suggestions for a barn rental in Hampton Roads for a wedding with about 50 guests, possibly 75? I'm wondering if there are any private farms or households with barns who would be willing to rent them out..

I had my reception here:

The Seahorse At Sandbridge

1545 Sandbridge Road Virginia Beach, VA, 23456

I actually used the house for the reception, but they have a small barn in the back. No clue how aesthetically pleasing it is, but I do know the people care a lot about their horses.

Weddings are great and be sure to make it your own.

Best of luck.

Taylor farm is near hunt club. Not sure if they rent it out or not, but you could ask. Hunt club is nicer IMO though.

It's not really a barn, but there's a place on the Yorktown Riverfront called "The Freight Shed". It is a place that can be rented out for weddings, receptions, banquets and such. You can decorate it, rent tables, chairs, etc. I don't know what it rents for though.
