I've only ever heard of the one in downtown Norfolk...on 21st street I think.

Not sure where, but there was one in Norfolk that was pretty good, maybe the one posted above. My wife went through chemo and we searched for a good wig shop for a white female. Best help she got was through the American Cancer Society. They actually had some free wigs available if you qualify.

Which city is best for you. There's great wig shops in each city, but I don't want to list my favorite in Virginia Beach if you're up in Newport News and vice-versa. Though honestly, I rarely buy wigs local in the area because I can get better quality wigs in a better variety of colors and styles for a fraction of the cost if I go through my normal vendors online.

Rita,

Where's a good wig shop on the Peninsula???? Would you mind providing your online vendor?
I'm not undergoing Chemo, but I do have a thyroid condition. Thanks!

Where abouts on the Peninsula?

For online, I normally bought from here. For what I need, I don't buy from them anymore, but their selection of "normal" looking wigs is still decent.
