So I am making the big move to Norfolk, VA and doing the move myself by driving a truck there. I needed some help in unloading the truck once I reach my destination. Can someone advise me where I can find such ppl that can help me unload? I have searched on Craigslist, however does anyone have any personal references or know of anyone that does this type of work.

Thanks in Advance!

A truck with a ramp and a hand dolly should get you by as long as you are physically capable and don't have anything extremely large or heavy. I would have just checked in the labor/moving section of craigslist too. Make sure you get a FULL quote based on everything you want moved. You would be surprised on what type of "extras" they try to tack on that was never mentioned in the add.

You might post a message looking for military members to help you unload your truck. I know a lot of young military families that are barely getting by financially and they would be gratefull for the opportunity to make a few extra bucks. Unfortunatly I am not on the "Southside" where Norfolk is, but on the Peninsula (across the James river) from Norfolk so the people I know would not be convienant to your area.
