Default Relocation to Virginia Beach! PLEASE HELP!! I'm losing hope!

I really need help!! I'm moving to Virginia Beach NEXT WEEK and cannot seem to fine a decent apartment. I have tried several websites, thought I found some good ones but then read bad reviews. I'm a single female looking for a safe neighborhood. I work at Princess Anne Hospital and would like to be in a 15-20 minute radius of there but preferably closer to the beach and running paths.

What I'm looking for :

1 bedroom with a den or a 2bedroom
Must have a washer and dryer in unit
safe neighborhood close to beach
would love newly renovated/update and spacious
nice fitness center and pool
would love the whole package....great amenities, nice and safe

My ideal price range is max of $900 but if I need to go up to around $1100 I would. Please throw out some apartment complex names that are great.

Also, if anyone can give me an idea of what I should expect to spend on utilities...cable, internet, electric, water, ect. That would be helpful.

You should get with a realtor. There are a lot of condos in that area. I bet you could find one to rent that would meet your needs.

Thank you to the few that have replied. It's a big help.

These are the apartments that I first was looking at but read some bad reviews on apartmentratings.com

Latitudes
Marina Shores
Thalia Gardens
Emerald Point
Reflections

Any input on those??

So I changed my game plan and currently taking into consideration these apartments:

South Lake
Saltmeadow Bay
Shoreline
Willow Lake
South Beach

Please please help! I really need suggestions. Thanks so much.

I'm also still trying to figure out what I can expect to pay for utilities...cable, internet, electric, gas, water, etc.

If it were me, I'd look at staying at an extended stay hotel until you can find a place to rent on a permanent basis. Here's the address of one in Virginia Beach:

Extended Stay America - Virginia Beach - Independence Blvd.
4548 Bonney Rd.
Virginia Beach, VA 23462
