Default cost of living in Hampton Roads

Hi. I am seriosly considering relocatinh to the hampton roads area esp. VA beach or Chesapeake. But i've heard that the utilities are extra high. Can someone give me an estimate on elecrtic, and water costs. Thanks

For my 2 bedroom apartment, I pay about 100/month for electric. Don't pay for my water though. But yes, the cost of living is semi-high. Not as bad as Los Angeles or New York City... but it's up there.

I have lived in this area for 15 yrs. The cost of living in va.bch. an Chesapeake are outrageously expensive.
water- 1 month 3 people 100.00
electric- 1 month 3 people(not inclueding heat wave)175.00
phone,cable,internet- 1month 3 people 200.00
gas- 225.00 (without freezing temps)
This is for a 2 bedroom
