Post Nice neighborhoods around William and Mary

Anyone have any recommendations for nice neighborhoods around the college of William and Mary in Williamsburg? Looking for a nice 3-4 bed house close to the college for a middle aged couple, no children, in the $330-$400k range.

Prefer a quiet neighborhood where there is space between the houses.

Thanks.

Hi - I don't live in Williamsburg but have been there many times. I think most of the neighborhoods around William & Mary are very nice. Lot of traffic on the main streets but the little neighborhoods tucked away off the main roads are very quiet and nice. If you contact a Williamsburg real estate agent, they will be happy to send you via email all real estate for sale in the W&M area.

Default Homes for sale around the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg

Hi! My name is Rolf Kramer. The price of homes around the college has gone up dramitically over the years. It is going to be almost impossible to find a nice home under $400,000 within walking distance of the college. You may find a fixer-upper for that price.

You can still find home with 3-4 bedrooms under $400,000 a couple fo miles away from the college. If you would like to find out more about the Williamsburg Real Estate market search the local MLS yourself
Regards,

Rolf

You'll probably have to look in James City County or upper York County to find something that fits your criteria. Some nice neighborhoods I've been to that might fit your price are the Lake Powell area, Captain Smith's Landing, Lakewood and Westminister Villages. Those are just the ones I've been to. One in upper York that is pretty new and might work is Creekside Landing.
