Hello all ! My husband and I are planning on relocating from Kentucky to the Va Beach area within the next 6 to 9 months. I have been doing lots of research, but would like an honest opinion on what areas are "good" and which are not. How much does an acre (if you can find one) of land cost on average? Thanks.

An acre of land in the Hampton Roads area is very expensive (if you want the house already on the land, you're looking at around $300K+) and quite a rare find unless you live deep in Pungo (or a simliar area). If you're looking for acre-age and a piece of mind without SUPER high prices, check out Gloucester.
