Best restaurants in VA Beach
Hey guys. Will be visiting VA Beach and the Hampton Roads area in January for a week to see if me and my girlfriend like it, if so, will be moving there next summer from Houston, TX.
I really want my girlfriend to be impressed by this place. So heres the question:
Whats the best restaurants in the area? We're big on mexican food so any good suggestions there would be good. We also love pizza places and also if there are any local breakfast places (non chain) and italian. Thanks alot.

What about seafood?!?!
My favorite Mexican restaurant (and there are a lot of locations throughout the area) is Plaza Azteca. Welcome
You may want to go to HamptonRoads.com - It is a great resource for restaurants - whenever we want to try someplace new we go there to check out the reviews.

Yeah I was scoping out Citysearch.com last night and seen this Plaza Azteca place and it got really good reviews. Thing is, we come from Houston. In Houston, just within a 1 mile radius, Im sure we have 30-40 mexican restaurants. The quality goes from poor to super nice. I really want to knock my girl's socks off with the best mexican food Hampton Roads has to offer..... so out of all of them in the area, this is the one you'd choose?

We love Malibu Mac's at Redmill Commons. The food is Southern California style food and the place has a 60's era surfing theme. Welcome to Malibu Mac's
We go there A LOT. So far everything we've eaten there has been DELISH.

McCormick and Schmicks (sp?) Is a high end seafood resturant that will be opening in town center this fall so if you're into seafood you may want to check that out as well.
