This.

I grew up in York County and moved out after finishing college a couple of years ago. I don't really have a strong desire to move back there (mostly career-related) even though I can't stand living here in Illinois. I still miss the ocean and some other things about it though.

I went to Tabb as well. Graduated in 2002; were you there at that time?

My parents live in York County now, but I grew up in Newport News. York County is cool if you can land a good job around the area. But there is NOTHING for young professionals around the Peninsula unless you're in the military or one of the lucky few to land a contractor/gov't job. Otherwise you'll be stuck working at a restaurant on 17 or landscaping.
