Hello, all--

I need to add a shower to a half bath sitting on a concrete slab. The room is surrounded by plumbing (laundry room on one side, hot water heater and main on the other side) in addition to the toilet and sink already in the room. Normally I'm a pretty capable DIY-er, but this one is beyond me. My concern is that I find someone honest and reasonable. I've had too much experience with the other type here in Virginia Beach and am somewhat gun-shy about hiring a contractor.

Also, do you know if I will need two different contractors, one to install the drain in the concrete floor and another to install the shower? I know I'll need to have the shower enclosure framed out before the plumber goes to work.

Thank you for any suggestions you can offer.
