Default Moving to Langley AFB area with 4 children, youngest with autism

Does anyone have any info on autism resources around Langley AFB? We are in the ECHO and EFMP programs and currently receive ABA therapy. Also, school systems are important. Any suggestions?
We are also looking for a nice home to rent for 3 years: 4-5 bedroom, 2-3 bathroom, 2-3 car garage.
Thank you so much!

You should join peninsulamommies.com--it's a free, on-line forum for area mothers. There's a private forum just for mothers of children with special needs. Several members have autistic children--I'm sure they'd be more than willing to help you out with school district advice and program information.

www.navigationbehavioralconsulting.com serves every city in the Hampton Roads. Good chance there is a wait list but doesn't hurt to check. I can suggest some sketchy companies if you DM me.
York County schools are great and IMO the best for SpEd services, especially with collaborating with BCBAs/BCABAs.

Thank you both so much for the information. I went this past weekend and found a house in Kiln Creek, so the kids will go to Grafton Middle and High. I am trying to figure out if my special needs little guy will go to New Horizons or Bethel Grafton.

Thank you again for your information.

Kiln Creek is a nice area and I don't think you can go wrong in Grafton or Tabb.. Lots of resources in the area..

That is great to hear. I had done a little homework before I went to visit and find a house, and I am glad I did. I really do like the Kiln Creek area. I visited the Grafton schools and hope the kids will "slide" right in. I have some help with the EFMP coordinator on Base, too, so that will help. Thank you for your response.
