This weekend:

-- Festival Williamsburg will host musical events at Colonial Williamsburg and the College of William & Mary. They start Friday evening with a performance by the Harlem Renaissance Orchestra in the Virginia Room of the Williamsburg Lodge.

--Saturday evening is performance of Mahler’s 8th Symphony, featuring a 100-piece orchestra, a 300-voice chorus and eight soloists, will take place at William & Mary Hall. On Sunday, television and Broadway star Jane Krakowski performs cabaret and show tunes during two shows at the Lodge.

--Memorial Day ceremonies kick off at 10 a.m. Monday in the Historic Area. The Colonial Williamsburg Fifes & Drums will lead a procession to the Governor’s Palace, Bruton Parish Church and Providence Hall to honor military veteran from the America Revolution and Civil War interred at or near those sites.

--Busch Gardens shifts to seven-day operations.

--On Monday, a performance by the Fifes & Drums of York Town at York Hall just after noon begins the traditional Memorial Day ceremony.
