Me and my Hubby are stationed in this area, would prefer to find a nice apartment in hampton but if not then newport news

What is a good aparment to live in at the most 15 mins away from langley,
Nice 2 bedroom, price range 600-730.

We dont have kids and won't for awhile so school systems doesn't matter.

I've looked into the yorktown thing but they are all over our price.

I don't know of any NICE 2 bedrooms for that price. If you willing to negotiate the 2 bedroom thing, or the nice part, than I could help you out, but otherwise, I just don't know of anything!

Lol, well they dont have to be perfection, i just like a decent place. I know some of the kitchens will be outdated and thats fine. I would just like a walk in closet.
whatever you think would be decent is good.

try cragislist.com. hampton and nn arent the best places to pinch pennines even though they are the cheapest areas in HR. visit the complexes you consider @ day and night b4 u sign anything. sancynicole is right a 1 bed will be easier to find @ 730 than a 2 bed.

Default Heather Lake

Hi, I lived in the Heather Lake apartments, I just moved this June. I thought they were okay, but the walls are very thin, I could hear my neighbor's t.v. through all hours of the night, and my other neighbors argued a lot, it drove me crazy. Another problem was that quit a few people in my building smoked pot, I could smell it coming in from my neighbors apartemnts and teenagers would sit out by the lake and in the hallways smoking pot. If it wasn't for those issues, the apartments are big, with very large master bedrooms, walk in closets, a washer and dryer, a seperate dining room and newly remodeled kitchens, and you can't get any closer to the base without living on base. They're pretty cheap too. Their are a few other apartments just down the street, I can't remember the names of them. They're all on Tide Mill Lane, at the end of LaSalle. I would recommend looking on Craigslist, you can find duplexes for cheaper than a lot of apartments on there. Good Luck
