So, I was thinking it would be fun to drive through some neighborhoods that have a great light display. Anyone know of any areas or streets I could check out on the Southside? On second thought maybe include other areas so others might also enjoy.

I hope someone has some information to share, citydweller. I'd like to know too. I love driving around looking at Christmas lights!

Thalia is always nice and of course, near the botanical gardens. We have a few in our neighborhood, but not near as decorated as Thalia

It's been a few years since I rode out there, but over in VB there's neighborhood over near Tallwood High School that always decorates. I think it's Albright Drive...

There used to be a neighborhood near Wards Corner that always had a big display. You used to be able to see the lights from I-64.

I've never been to the displays in the Thalia area. I think we'll probably check that out.

I love the light display at the Norfolk Botanical Garden. Maybe this year we'll check out some of the surrounding neighborhoods.

Thank you for the information!
