I have a friend that had a death in her family in Norfolk. I want to arrange prepared food to be delivered to her home, but it has been such a long time since I lived there , I don't know where to start. I would appreciate any ideas you may have. Thank you.

What a kind thing to do for your friend.

There are so many catering businesses (some from established restaurants) that it would be difficult to recommend one without knowing more about what you'd like to include and/or the type of food you want to send.

Here's what I found when I googled it. I hope you find one that fits your needs...

Thank you LilyLady! I never thought to search catering. I have been searching restaurants and grocery stores!

I just wanted to write a follow up to my search. I placed an delivery order from a restaurant named Azars. It looks as though they have both a Virginia Beach and Norfolk outlet. They could not have been any nice or accommodating on the telephone and the family notified me that the food was delivered ( exactly on time) and it was delicious! It is always gratifying to find a business that goes above and beyond ! Thank you Azars!
