Tony - It's great that you posted with a final update. So many members enjoy learning how things turned out and whether their advice was helpful.

But, according to your other posts, you bought in Norfolk. Which, according to the CD subforum IS in Hampton Roads. Not, technically city limits Hampton Roads but it falls in the CD HR subforum region of interest. Unless you mean Norfolk in Connecticut, Nebraska, the UK, Canada, Jamaica, or Australia.

Just funnin with ya. Congrats.

Wrong, Hampton Roads is made up of 7 different cities. It's a geographical location not a city. Hampton and Norfolk are compleatly different cities in Hampton Roads. Hampton Roads and Hampton aren't the same.

Gotta love when people who aren't from here try to correct those who are.

You misunderstood my point. I did not say that Norfolk is physically part of Hampton. I tried to make clear that it is not - I used the term "city limits" and Hampton Roads too loosely. Rather, my point was that Norfolk issues are usually discussed in the Hampton Roads City Data subforum, which was where Tonydisk posted. Sorry if I confused anyone.

No you missed it. The OP was looking to buy in Hampton which is an independent city located in Hampton Roads. You said the OP bought in Norfolk which is in Hampton Roads, but not technically in the city limits. I'm trying to explain the Hampton Roads isn't a city. Hampton and Norfolk are 2 different cities separated by a body of water. Norfolk IS a part of Hampton Roads which is a Geographical religion.

Hampton Roads is comprised of seven cities: Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Newport News, Hampton and Suffolk.

Hampton Roads 101. Should be a sticky for this forum. Hampton Roads is a 7 city MSA. Hampton is one of those 7 cities.

Whenever I look up Norfolk on Google, I get Norfolk UK. I always have to search for Norfolk VA.
