Christmas dinner in Virginia Beach
I am looking for a restaurant in Virginia Beach for Christmas dinner. We are looking for a gourmet-type menu. Anything similar to The Jefferson in Richmond?

If you like seafood go to McCormick and Schmicks at Town Center. They are an excellent resturant. I took my mom there for her birthday this past weekend and I have nothing but praise for the place. Be forewarned though, they can be a bit pricey. |

I'm not familair with the Jefferson for anything other than brunch, but if you're looking for a place with a gourmet menu, and a nice atmosphere, try Stienhilbers. It's tucked into the back of a neighborhood, but it's not hard to find.
They have a website, but I don't know if we're allowed to post them on here... |

We have been to Steinhilber's and love it, but we are looking for a Christmas dinner menu. So far, the only thing I can find is Catch 31 @ the Hilton. Our beach house is on Chesapeake Beach, so we have great seafood whenever we want.
On another note, Steinhilber's is a little hard to find. The first time we went there, our cab driver kept going in circles looking for it. A year later, we went back. The same cab driver pulled up to pick us up, and we were like, oh god, here we go again. He had a hard time finding it again.

That's a bad cab driver!  Just take Virginia Beach Blvd. until you hit Thalia Rd. Then straight downs Thalia until it ends!
