Default Where do the Virginia Beach Democrats meet?

Can someone tell me how to get in touch with the local Democrat party for Virginia Beach? I am used to volunteering in local elections, etc, but we are fairly new to the area and have not had the opportunity to meet fellow democrats yet.

Sorry to disappoint you, but Meyera Obendorf is actually a democrat. The area may be conservative but It may surprise you to know that the majority of council leans democratic, the notable exception is Bill De Steph and Louis Jones (and perhaps Babara Henley and Rosemary Wilson) though they're usually pretty center of the road with their votes. Anyway, for information on where VB dems meet got to www.vbdems.org.

vdogg, thanks, i was just responding to ExCalGirl, being new and not knowing anything of the politics here yet. That is why I want to meet the democrats in the area. I have heard that the democrats in this area are more like progressive republicans, but that is ok I will learn the ropes as quickly as I can. Just can't sit back and let others do what I am not willing to do for myself.

Today is the big day, a day when the people of the 81st have an opportunity to send a real fresh perspective to Richmond.

This is a special election and its all about turnout! John has worked hard for us over the past several weeks in this campaign, and he needs us today. Help us win this election by getting people you know in the 81st to vote Make sure you tell them to VOTE LACOMBE!

If you live in Virginia Beach or Chesapeake, come out with me today to your local polling location and help make John Lacombe Delegate for the 81st district!
