Default Need moving company advice

A friend of mine is moving from Norfolk VA to Lexington KY. Anyone have an info on relatively inexpensive moving truck companies? The move will consist of the standard couch, ez chair, BR suite that would be in a 1 BR Apt.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thx,

bb

I assuming you are just looking for a rental truck? Not sure but if so we've used both UHaul and Penske and we had the best experience with Penske. We had our credit card number stolen by Uhaul (they threw the reciepts in dumpsters without being shredded and our number got stolen at the same time the news story broke). Several people had that problem. I've also just gotten better service from Penske people, but that's my opinion I guess. We also got AAA when I moved from Wisconsin to VA because the cost of joining AAA was around $50 but using the discount they gave us for Penskey was like $150. Well worth it.

Thanks for the response. I''m so sorry about the Uhaul experience. I'll remember that one.

I heard good things about Penske also. If you are looking for a mover Harrison Moving is good and honest.
