Hello, i need to get my car inspected in april but currently don't have the funds. I just spent my money on a new engine, radiator, o2 sensor and spark plugs. the only thing i need to pass my inspection is two tires and unfortnately, I'm broke. Does anyone know of any places in hampton roads that will pass my inspection? i plan to get new tires, i just will not be able to afford it in april.

So do we know any criminals we want to out on the Internet? There is a place on portsmouth blvd that sells used tires. They guarantee they will pass inspection.

There's places there , but it was many years ago, that will pass your car if only the horn works. It is a scam to have a state inspection, my state does not even have one. I used to go to a place 15 years ago off lynnhaven Pkwy near the mall, that passed my car regardless of the condition. Just go around to some places and ask people in your area where they will pass your car so you don't have to get the tires yet.

If you really must pass, borrow some tires from a friend, get a pair of used tires or even a pair of retreads.

Inspections a scam? I don't agree with that. After living in a few states with no inspections I'm glad that there are avenues to keep some of the worst polluters and death traps off the road.

I do not know of a place that will pass you if you should fail, but I know of a place that won't fail you just to make $ off of you.
