My old HS buddy down there got his walking papers from the NN shipyard. He is trying to get on at Norfolk but if he doesn't I'm encouraging him to get out of HR. There is a reason why most of my HS class have left or did not return to HR after college. A place that many HR blue-collar workers should consider going is Louisville where the wage scale is similar but COL is far more reasonable and big companies like Ford are actually hiring there.
