Just found out about this: Southeastern Parkway and Greenbelt Location Study

That's something that VB and Chesapeake DESPERATELY needs. They need to get started on that ASAP! Good lord.

Talked about since the 80's, and nothing still. We'll all be dead by the time it ever comes to fruition.

Oh no!!!!! I'm not in favor of bringing that kind of traffic onto Elbow Rd and into the area. There will be an increase as it is once Lynnhaven is finished. We moved out here to get away from everyone I don't want them following us!

One can hope!

That study is older and I'm pretty sure there is more than one bald eagle nest now so hopefully that will keep it away. I've actually seen them at the Target parking lot and sitting on a stop light.

It's dead, it's pretty much been dead since 2010 when the Federal Highway Administration rejected every proposal regarding the build....

Elbow is going to be closed for five months starting in April to widen the lanes, add shoulders, realign the curve by the church, and extend utilities to the Fieldstone development. There will also be left and right turn lanes for westbound traffic at Centerville.
