Default Mexican Food

Does anyone know of an all you can eat Mexican food restaurant in the Hampton Roads area? I was told of one in downtown Norfolk but have been unable to locate it............

Mi Hogar in Norfolk is really good.....I can't remember which street it is on though.

I think Guadalajara is the Mexican restaurant that you are looking for in downtown Norfolk on Granby Street...next to Premier Theater.

There is also another one called Luna Maya in Ghent off 21st street..... that is really good as well.

Guadalajara on Granby is definitely a good one in Norfolk, but that's the only one in that city that I really liked. It's oddly up-scale as far as Mexican places go.

Others that come to mind are Mi Casita, the absolute best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. It's just off of I-264 one or two exits down from Towne Center. You'll find it no prob with a Google search. If you have a (very) hearty appetite, they have something called a Loco Burrito that is a giant burrito smothered in cheese. So good!

In Chesapeake, near the intersection of Volvo and Greenbriar (if I remember right), there's El Loro. Good place, but often packed. If you go there right at noon, expect to have a wait time. I think the place is often considered the best Mexican place in Chesapeake, and I'd agree with that.

Oh, how I miss Mi Casita! PT, you and I need to schedule the petsitters and head back to VB for some "real" Mexican food! Mmmm... white sauce... only ever found it in Hampton Roads. What's up with that, anyway?

El Loro was great, too. There are SO many in Hampton Roads. We have them here in the Roanoke Valley too, just not the quality HR has. JCQ, have a plate of fajitas for me!

All you can eat. That would be great, but I would get as big as a house. I have never heard of one though.

Hehehe...that is what people tell me when I try to suggest places in the HR area. I have never had "authentic" mexican food though so I guess I don't really know what I am talking about!
