desi2007 is on a distinguished road
Default looking to downsize....

...looking to downsize and move to smaller "newer" house in VB near nice neighborhood, no where close to oceana air base would hate the jet noise or GreenRun area, prefer 2-3 bedroom house with clean lawn, no flood zone...any one have any suggestions??

My house would do you *almost* perfectly -- here are the catches: I have a renter living there for the next 1.5 years, and it's not quite "newer" -- built in 1983. But cute cedar siding house, safe neighborhood, newer appliances, windows and floor, not in a flood zone, close to I-264 and I-64 (Greenbrier area is close, so lots of shopping), 2 grocery stores within 2 minutes drive.

Not sure why I'm giving you all this info since it won't be for sale again till summer of 2009! I gave up trying to sell it last summer and rented it out instead. Hard time to sell a house. My husband sold his last winter in 3 weeks. I put mine on the market 2 months later, and got zilch.
