Default One more Newport News Question...

I have heard from multiple sources that Kiln Creek elementary is a very good school for children with autism. My son is 4 years old, and I have found some very promising homes in the Kiln Creek zoning that look very nice, and are in our price range. My question is would Kiln Creek be good elementary school for my child with no developmental issues? She is going to be 2 and we would probably be at Langley when she starts Preschool and Kindergarten.

Thanks

Kiln Creek Elementary is a nice school, and the area is well kept and considered "one of the nice areas" in HPT & NN. Whenever a school has a specialty area they are generally superior overall in other "regular" areas.

Kiln Creek gets kids bused in from downtown. I would go to York County if I were you. Very close to Langley, good schools, out of the way-yet still close to everything. It is a little pricey though.

Kiln Creek is a bright spot in NN, the school and the neighborhood. And most of the schools that follow in her upcoming years are good also (Gildersleve, Menchvile)
