Pembroke will be gone within the next 4-5 years. It's being torn down to extend the street grid of town center across Virginia Beach Blvd. to create urban redevelopment.

I try to avoid malls generally but I do go to pembroke once a week to eat in the Kellys Tavern because of the balcony 2nd floor layout they retained from annabelles, just not something you can find anywhere its unique to eat there lol

Patrick henry has been doing a decent job with their tenant mix. They just got a Chipotle and about 4 new stores that cater to the teen/early 20s crowd (I am definitely getting a little older now).

We have a geek meet at Pembroke monthly. No wait, two of them. It's not horrible. Needs more food choices in the food court. Parking is packed, all the time. Kellys is home to one of them, the food court the other.
