Saturday at 2pm, head over to the Ferguson Center for the Arts for some jazzy music. The American Big Band will be performing top hits from jazz, while the dancers charm your every thought.

If you're on the southside, head over to the Virginia Beach Convention Center sometime this weekend for the Tidewater RV Show.

On Saturday from 9-5pm, take your children to the Children's Museum for a special African-American Heritage Day. Enjoy the sights and sounds, learn about the origin of hip-hop, crafts and exhibitions galore.

Soo.. This weekend is Polar Plunge XVII! That's right, don't forget to take the opportunity and plunge into the freezing cold ocean for some good laughs and a good time. So make sure you get your costumes out and ready to go - there will be tents you can use to change at the event. There will be a costume contest!

All of this will be happening on Saturday, February 7. The festivities start at 10am and the official plunge will be at 230pm!

The movies Doubt and Changeling are going to be playing at the Naro this weekend. Both were really great films, so now's your chance to see them before the Oscars (both are nominated). Plus, you'll be supporting a really great, locally owned movie theater in a great neighborhood.

This weekend should be full of laughter, Hampton Roadians! Some very famous people are in town this weekend. THE HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS! The incredible show of ball-handling, slam-dunking, and hysterical antics involving anybody and everybody will have people of all ages squirting soda out their noses and falling out of their seats in laughter. So head over to the Ted Constant Convocation Center right outside ODU in Norfolk for the show. Showtimes are 7pm on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday. I've seen them a number of times, and have enjoyed it every time.
