My mother and I left Hampton not long before Ft Monroe shut down. She left a job at Monroe and stated a lot of her coworkers (most who lived in Hampton or Southern York Co) took jobs at Eustis to stay in the area. Probably not much choice about the commute but I think Hampton would feel something if Eustis closed. Langley closing would be lights out for Hampton though.
