There is alot of traffic and speeders on News Rd. However, there is a walking trail that goes along the side on News Rd that is about 10 to 15 feet away from the road. The neighborhood is great. Nice and quiet. There are a few houses currently for sale in neighborhood, prices from $290k to $325k. They are all very nice homes and in great condition. There is one home on a cul-de-sac that backs up to greenspace and there is another nice one on the other side of the neighborhood that backs up to greenspace and the Fords Colony Subdivision. The other homes that are for sale back up to each other and there is not as much privacy.

To all...I'm sorry. I posted a reply yesterday and added a copy of a house that is for sale so that aibutiej could see what the homes in that area look like. Again, I'm sorry.

Springhiller,

I guess linking to a house for sale is not allowed, but I did get to see it and I appreciate what you were trying to do. So thank you.

Williamsburg just seems like a very nice place to live. Some days I am so very ready to leave CT. Even though spring finally has arrived here, can you believe that it was 35 degrees this morning? It's only in the mid-50's now. I mean, come on, it is May!

Ah well, some day...

Aibutiej,
Williamsburg is a great place to live. People are very friendly. My husband and I moved here 2 years ago from California. We absolutely love it but we are now home sick and are ready to move back to California to be closer to our family and old friends. I guess it just wasn't meant to be for us here. I'm sorry to hear that it is so cold there. My sister lived in CT for a short time. She hated it and moved back to CA. I'm sure if you ever get the chance, you will make the move. Good Luck on your future endeavors.
