Question Please help

Hi,

I am moving to Virginia Beach in mid-july and was hoping to waitress for the summer before looking for a full-time job. I was hoping that i could get some recommendations on places that i would be able to get a position mid-summer and/or that would be somewhat lucrative. I will be coming from a full-time position and need to find something immediately.

Thanks for helping.

KC

It really depends on where in Virginia Beach.. But there are a lot of good places for that type of work. I recommend Red Star, Bravo's, and Cheesecake Factory,Trips, Red Lobster, Lynnhaven Fishhouse. There are many places just drive around a friday night see whats busy and its pretty much a go...

If you are planning to live on your tips, I would recommend a place that has a little better menu. The sports bars aren't bad and the seafood restaurants with tourist season are pretty much a big hit. The ocean front restaurants seem to hire alot of summer help. Those places are busy every day of the week, not just the weekends.
