Default Governor's School of the Arts in Norfolk

We're relocating to the Virginia Beach area and have a child who will be a freshman in high school. She has been accepted to our local arts high school and I'm wondering if there is something comparable in Virginia Beach. I've taken a look at the performing arts academy in Salem high school and the Governor's School of the arts in Norfolk...how hard it is to get in? Any insights?

He is in performing arts (acting). All I know is that he loves it and it has a very high reputation. I don't know about their acceptance rates or qualifications to enter the school. Sorry I am not helping answer more specific questions.
