one crowded hour is on a distinguished road
Good to hear that you're enjoying Olde Towne. I've been living here almost a year now and like it very much. I walk all over Olde Towne (not beyond Effingham) at all hours and have never had a problem. I can walk -- and who wants to drive in HR? -- to all kinds of things, including the library, tons of restaurants, pubs, the ferry to downtown N'folk, the Daily Grind, art galleries, the theater, etc. When I hear the posters lamenting OT, I wonder when they were last here. Sure, you'll get someone asking for a handout every now and then, but that's just part of in-town living.

Default Possible Move to Portsmouth

Hello- I am looking at moving to Portsmouth in February and would be working at the Naval Hospital. Where are the best places to live that are safe for a young adult? I currently live in Honolulu and I am not at all familiar with the area. I am a city girl but I also like to be safe. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
