Default Auto Body Shops

Hey all, great to be back in the Hampton Roads area. Was stationed here '94-'97, back for another tour of duty.

Rear-ended the other day and getting ready for Insurance Assessment. Want to know your thoughts for best (reputation, results, etc.) auto body shop in the Hampton Roads area. I'm very particular about the appearance of my car, so I'm looking for someone who will pay attention to the smallest details (I'm willing to wait).

Thanks for any advice, enjoy your day!

There's a place on Kellam Rd., in Norfolk, near ODU at 34th street I believe. When I first got back in the states, I was looking for a car. I went to this body shop and saw a little Mazda there. I had asked the guy how much he wanted and he said enough to pay the bill, cuz the owner didn't have the money. I told him my story of being stationed over seas and what cash I had on hand. He took what I had and I had that lil car for 5 years. I didn't trade it in either. I kept it til it fell apart with old age. Never had a problem with it.

I don't know how far you want to drive, but Atkinson Collision Center in New Kent pays attention to all of the smallest details.

I had an accident not too long ago and the Toyota dealership sent my car to Williamsburg Ford. Richard, the shop manager, does everything right. And if you are not happy, he will fix it! The other place that I have heard is good is that Bruce's Body Shop, but I hear that it is more expensive than other places. Both shops are out here in Williamsburg but we have been extremely happy with the work from Williamsburg Ford.
Good luck!
