For high speed Internet It depends on your address. Cox Cable is the predominant service http://hamptonroads.cox.net/cci/home I believe Cavalier is starting to offer service in limited areas. You can check an address here Cavalier Hi-Speed Internet - Enhanced with Google Apps*
Verizon offers phone and DSL maybe high speed Internet ( FIOS ) in some areas. Not mine Verizon | FiOS Internet Electric service is provided by Dominion https://my.dom.com/externalPortalWeb...f?Submit=Begin
Hope that helps. I personally have a bundled ( phone, high speed internet, HD TV) service with Cox. Their customer service is not always the best. But it is my only option currently besides satellite.

I've heard good things about Cox's bundled service. Actually with all the big boys, Cox got rated better then all of them just about, except for Verizon's FIOS bundle. Question, how much do you pay for everything with the HD package? Do they also offer a DVR?

Sadly my wife pays our bills. I know it approx $120 something without HBO or DVR.
HD is free, DVR is an extra monthly cost. There are so many different options it's best to explore their website. They also usually do specials for new subscribers for the first year.

I don't see it on their website, but do you know the price per kw/h for Dominion?

When it comes to Cox, I pay $140 a month for:

-5MB internet
-Home Phone
-Cable package with all channels and DVR service.

As far as Dominion Power, I just checked my bill...
Jun-Sep 7.26 ˘
Oct-May 5.93 ˘
Annual Average 6.43 ˘

that's per kWh

I paid $41.95 per month for high speed internet, and we also got some basic cable channels (not sure if this was a mistake but I never mentioned it to them..)
